Shut Up Little Man! – An Audio Misadventure

When two punks from the Midwest made audio recordings of their neighbors’ irresistibly profane screaming matches upon moving to Frisco back in ’87, they inadvertently created one of the world’s first ‘viral’ sensations. Blessed with the misfortune of living next to a pair of raging alcoholics – one a flamboyant gay man and the other a brazen homophobe, their recordings sparked a cult following that would lead to a slew of pop-culture adaptations, including comics, zines, jazz ditties – and now a super-fun feature documentary which premieres this week at none other than Sundance Film Festival.
