Philips
Philips is one of the largest electronics companies in the world. The company was founded in 1891 by Gerard Philips, with its first products being light-bulbs and other technical devices. Since then, they have gone on to develop a wide range of products for use in all areas of society.
One of the most important areas that Philips shifted into is Health Care. With their experience in audiovisual technology, they have created a new and improved, so-called Ambient Experience in a Health Care environment.
To explain to children how the medical procedure works, Philips designed a small-scale Kitten Scanner. It is one of the many examples where Philips focuses on the well-being of people and not only on technical product innovation.
