Okay, we’ve been burning incense by the kilo’s, sacrificed virgins, and chanted Vedic mantras here at the Submarine Channel office to show our appreciation to the powers that be for the Digital Emmy nomination for Collapsus!

But seriously…

 

In the light of those recent awards (SXSW) and nominations for Collapsus, we wanted to share a bit more about the why and the how behind this particular transmedia endeavor. Is it fiction or documentary? Is the documentary film really “dying”? And what’s so innovative about Collapsus anyway?

Submarine producer Bruno Felix and Collapsus director Tommy Pallotta have the answers. And interaction designer Jurriaan Esmeijer explain the main challenges he and the design team faced.
