Submarine Channel

How does interactivity help in documentaries?

How do you tell an interactive story when it can be told in multiple mediums, such as text, video, graphics and photography?

What opportunities are there for personal engagement and connection to the narrative?

Taking us through NYTimes’ interactive piece on the Life and Death of a Hockey Enforcer, Andrew DeVigal – the former NYTimes Multimedia editor who is now elevating the art of storytelling at Second Storydishes on creating compelling interactivity, and the depth and detail we otherwise couldn’t see or experience in a story.

“Tell me something and I may forget. Show me and I will remember. Involve me and I’ll understand”.
