How to attend IDFA’s do {not} touch

The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) is a must-attend appointment for all documentary buffs. In particular, here at Submarine Channel, we always look forward to IDFA DocLab, the interactive and immersive program. Obviously, this year things are gonna be a bit different.

From 18-29 November 2020, IDFA DocLab and IDFA on Stage will present do {not} touch, a special program on “how artists across disciplines disrupt physical boundaries and challenge digital technology to seek out new forms of documentary art and human connection”.

Some parts of do {not} touch will take place in Amsterdam but most of the program will be available online. It’s 2020, folks!

From VR experiences like the National Theatre’s All Kinds of Limbo (a participatory performance celebrating reggae, grime and calypso) to a cooking workshop to prepare for the end of the world (how will the tea ceremony of the future look like?), do {not} touch has something in store for all kinds of storytelling gourmands.

Check out the IDFA’s official website for details about tickets and times
