New promo from TRUNK directors AL + JOCK

Directing duo Alasdair + Jock have recently completed Bottom Of The River, an animated promo for Canada’s Tom Fun Orchestra. Only just released, it has already been nominated for a UK Music Video Award 2009. ‘Bottom Of The River’ was inspired by Lotte Reiniger‘s enchanting 1926 animated feature ‘Prince Achmed‘ and animated in a mix of 2D and 3D which was then composited with backgrounds that had been hand-painted on acetate to give a murky, underwater aesthetic.
